Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Allen Kilgore, 54, will be held at 2 p.m.,
Wednesday, May 17, 2006, in the Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Hawthorn officiating.
Interment will follow in Boggs Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Mortuary
in Springhill.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., today, May 16, 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Kilgore was born July 31, 1951 in Springhill to Rupert and Eunice Braley
Kilgore Sr. and died suddenly May 14, 2006 in Keithville. He was a lifelong resident
of this area, a member of Salem Baptist Church and a former machinist. Mr. Kilgore
had worked for the Louisiana Department of Corrections for 15 years.
Mr. Kilgore was preceded in death by his parents; infant twin daughters; sister,
Joane Holman and brother, Rupert Kilgore.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Orr Kilgore of Plain Dealing; step-children,
Kellie Strong Harper and husband, Jeff of Sarepta, Franklin D. Strong of Plain
Dealing; three grandchildren; brother, George Kilgore of Ruston; brother-in-law,
Jimmy Holman and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Fellow Employees for Forcht Wade of Keithville, LA with a
Honor Guard for Graveside Rites from Wade Correction Center.
Jerry Allen KILGORE and Francis ORR were married on Jun 1, 1985 in Webster
Parish, LA. Francis ORR was born in 1951. |
