James Randolph Braley and Dillon Wallace related a family history that indicates that Green was married to Nora Dunn while in the service in WW1. After the war was over, Green was late returning home. Another man came along and told Nora that he and Green had been in the service together and that Green had been killed. This man courted Nora and eventually married her. When Green finally returned and found out what had happened he wouldn't have anything to do with Nora and eventually married Letha McEachern. No information has been found indicating what eventually happened to Nora or to the man that she married.
