She was the wife of the late Maurice Laurent Sr.; daughter of the late Henry and Josephine Cailouet Bourgeois; mother and mother-in-law of Maurice Laurent Jr. and wife Pat, Mildred Oubre, Murna Troglione and husband Frank, Merlyn Laurent and wife Karen, Monty Laurent and wife Martha, and the late Matthew Laurent. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, 2208 Jefferson Highway, Lutcher, from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. Entombment in St. Michael's Mausoleum, Convent.
