Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Mae Blunt Warren, age 87, were held Friday,
November 25, 2005 at 2pm in the Bailey Chapel, Springhill, with Bobby Stewart
officiating. Interment followed in the Springhill Cemetery under the direction
of Bailey Mortuary, Springhill, LA.
Mrs. Warren was born July 22, 1918 in Bradley, AR to Burl and Cynthia Cason Blunt
and passed away November 23, 2005 in Springhill, LA. She was a resident of this
area and a member of the Central Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Roland Warren of Springhill, LA, Kenneth Warren
and wife, Donna of Caddo Gap, AR; four grandchildren, Christopher Warren of Caddo
Cap, AR, Kimberly Potts and husband, Kevin of Houston, TX, Jason Shane Stuart
of Longview, TX, Dana Lynn Crumpler and husband, John of Haynesville, LA; sister,
Marie Duke of Taylor, AR; three great grandchildren, Christopher Henderson of
Houston, TX, Baylen Henderson of Houston, TX, Jacob Short of Houston, TX and
numerous nieces and nephew <sic>.
Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mirel Warren;
three brothers, Harry Blunt, William Blunt, John Blunt and three sisters, Mamie
Stanley, Ruby Martin and Maude Wallace.
Gladys Mae BLUNT and Mirel D. WARREN were married on Nov 23, 1940.
Mirel D. WARREN was born on Jun 26, 1914.
He died on Oct 24, 1979 in Springhill, Webster Parish, LA.152 Gladys Mae BLUNT and Mirel D. WARREN had the following
