DAUTHIER, MARGARET R. "MAGGIE"
A retired registered nurse and a resident of Livonia, she died at 3:36 p.m. Tuesday,
Jan. 5, 1999, at Pointe Coupee General Hospital, New Roads. She was 78 and a
native of Baywood. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd.,
2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and after 8 a.m. Friday. Religious services at the
funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Danny Greig. Interment
in Bluff Creek Community Cemetery. Survived by five daughters and four sons-in-law,
Yvonne and Adam Boe, Baton Rouge, Margaret Faye and Dale Thornton, Liberty, Miss.,
Sherry and Gary Jeter, Houston, Violet Ann and Marshall Austin, Zachary, Susan
Ann Graham and fiance, Gerald Sparks, both of Livonia; four sons and two daughters-in-law,
Richard Fitzgerald, Texas, Charles and Therasa Fitzgerald, New Caney, Texas,
Conrad and Cathy Dauthier, Jarreau, and Don Dauthier, Gonzales; 41 grandchildren
and 38 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Conrad Dudly Dauthier;
parents, Lillian and Archie Roe; two sons, Sonny and Skippy Fitzgerald; two sisters,
Velma Roy and Lucille Bright; and an infant brother, Archie Allen Roe Jr. Pallbearers
will be sons and sons-in-law.
She was buried on Jan 8, 1999 in Bluff Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, East
Feliciana Parish, LA. Margaret Mae ROE and James W. FITZGERALD were
married about 1938. They were divorced. James
W. FITZGERALD (son of John S. FITZGERALD and Eunice __________) was born
on Feb 25, 1911 in Pride, EBR Parish, LA. He died on Dec 21, 1981

FITZGERALD, James W.
Died at 7:39 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, 1981at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical
Center. He was a native of Pride and a resident of Watson. He was retired owner
of Amite Sand & Gravel Co. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home from 5:30 to 9
p.m. Tuesday and after 8 a.m. Wednesday. Religious services at 3 p.m. Wednesday
at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Larry Stafford. Interment in Roselawn
Memorial Park. Survived by his wife, Mary Newton Fitzgerald, Watson; three daughters,
Mrs. Yvonne Boe and Mrs. Fay Thornton, both of Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Sandy Davis,
Watson; five sons, A. J. and Michael Fitzgerald, both of Pride, Richard Fitzgerald,
Washington State, Charles Fitzgerald, Portland, Ore., and Raymond Fitzgerald,
Hammond; 24 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild, nieces and nephews. He was
a member of Redwood Baptist Church.
He was buried on Dec 23, 1981 in Roselawn Memorial Park, Baton Rouge, EBR Parish,

Center. He was 54, a native of Baton Rouge, and a resident of Zachary. Visiting
at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 10 a.m. until religious services at 3
p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Ralph Parks. Burial in Denham Springs Memorial
Cemetery. Survived by wife, Lillian "Polly" Fitzgerald, Zachary; mother,
Margaret Dauthier, Baton Rouge; five daughters, Dianne Brumfield, St. Francisville,
Kay Rene, Cheryl Sullivan, and Joanne Landry, all of Denham Springs, and Linda
Lawrence, Biloxi, Miss.; a son, Paul Sullivan, Sterling, Va.; five sisters, Yvonne
Boe and Susan Graham, both of Baton Rouge, Margaret Faye Thornton, Liberty, Miss.,
Shery Demoulin and Violet Austin, both of Zachary; five brothers, Don Dauthier
and Chuck Fitzgerald, both of Conroe, Texas, Conrad Dauthier, Jarreau, Richard
Fitzgerald, Likely, Calif., and Michael Fitzgerald, Baton Rouge; a grandmother,
Lillian Roe, Baton Rouge; and 18 grandchildren. Preceded in death by father,
James Fitzgerald; and a brother, Raymond Fitzgerald. Pallbearers will be Paul
Sullivan, Perry Rene, Lewis Brumfield, Chuck Fitzgerald, Ricky Landry, and Tommy
Lawrence. Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, in charge of arrangements.
