Stanley Norris Sullivan, Sr.
A retired carpenter and resident of Walker, he died at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, March
17, 1999 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 62 and a native
of Denham Springs. Visiting was held at House of Prayer, Walker, 2 p.m. to 10
p.m. Thursday. Visiting at House of Prayer 8 a.m. until religious services at
3 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Martha Cobb and the Rev. Ray Johnson. Interment
in Salem Cemetery, Walker. Survived by wife, Alice Fay Cobb Sullivan; two daughters;
Tammy S. Logan, Thorndale, Texas, and Donna F. Sullivan, Houston; three sons
and daughters-in-law, Stanley Norris Jr. and Carolyn Sullivan, Terry Don and
Elsie Sullivan and Roger Dale and Brenda Sullivan, all of Walker; four sisters,
Barbara Alford, Helen Graham, Regina San Angelo and Bobby Allen; two brothers,
Emmitt Sullivan and Reggie Sullivan Jr; 13 grandchildren, five of which he raised
as his own, and three great grandchildren. Preceded in death by father, Reggie
Sullivan Sr.; mother Ida Mae Roe Sullivan; and a brother, James E. Sullivan.
