JONES, Mrs. Emily Chaney
Died at 10 p.m. Friday at Jackson. Born in Stoney Point, she was 74 years old
and resided in Baton Rouge. Survived by one son, Murry Jones of Shreveport;
one daughter, Mrs. Lillian T. Bankston of Baton Rouge; one sister, Mrs. Adeline
Sommers of Baton Rouge and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Body
to rest at Rabenhorst Funeral Home until 3 p.m. Saturday. Religious services
to be held by the Rev. Carter at the Bethel Baptist Church in Pride at 4 p.m.
Burial to follow in the Bethel cemetery. She was buried on Oct 18, 1954 in
Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery, Pride, EBR Parish, LA. Emily Elizabeth
