WAYNE A retired professor of mathematics from the University of Georgia, a former computer programmer for Unisys Corp. and a resident of Roswell, Ga., he died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, at his home. He was 63 and a native of Hammond. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, Monday, Sept. 20, from 11 a.m. until religious service at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Tom Cobb. Entombment in Greenlawn Mausoleum. Survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David and Beth Cutrer, San Ramon, Calif.; a daughter, Victoria Ann Cutrer, Cumming, Ga.; a grandson, Nicholas Cutrer, San Ramon; a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Wayne Ritter, Baton Rouge; a niece and nephew, Jeannine and Sean Naquin, Houma; a nephew, Christopher Ritter, Baton Rouge; a great-nephew, Owen Naquin, Houma; and aunts and cousins. Preceded in death by parents, Clayton and Idell Walker Cutrer. He received his bachelor of science degree from Southeastern Louisiana University, a master's degree from LSU and a doctorate from Tulane University.
