Reggie H. Sullivan Jr.
A retired carpenter with Local 1098 and a resident of Denham Springs, he died
at 4:40 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007, at Baton Rouge Hospice. He was 74 and
a native of Denham Springs. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Visitation will be at
Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Sunday, Aug. 5, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Visitation resumes at the funeral home chapel on Monday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m.
until religious service at noon, conducted by the Rev. Harvey Stewart. Interment
in Amite Baptist Church Cemetery in Denham Springs. He is survived by three daughters
and a son-in-law, Cheryl Sullivan, of Denham Springs, Linda and Tommy Lawrence,
of Biloxi, Miss., and Joanne Landry, of Denham Springs; a son and daughter-in-law,
Paul and Cheryl Ann Sullivan, of Virginia; four sisters and two brothers-in-law,
Helen and Oscar Graham, of Walker, Bobbie and Milton Allen, Barbara Ann Hall,
and Regina Santangelo, all of Denham Springs; a brother and sister-in-law, Emmett
Sr. and Jeannette Sullivan, of Denham Springs; 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren
and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife,
Jackie Sullivan; parents, Reggie H. Sullivan Sr. and Ida Mae Roe Sullivan; daughters,
Debbie Sullivan Arnold and Roxanne Sullivan Evans; brothers, Gene and Stanley
Sullivan; twin sister, Joan Sullivan; and great-granddaughter, Mallory Ann Dickerson.
His grandsons, Jeremy and Chad Cleaver, Dobie Lawrence, Zachary Lawrence, Ryan
Sullivan and Jonathon Martrain, will serve as pallbearers. Special thanks to
Baton Rouge Hospice for the loving care that was given to him.
