Roe, Marguerite "Jackie"
A resident of Morgan City since 1953, she died at 7 a.m. Friday, June 19, 1998,
at Lafayette General Medical Center, Lafayette. She was 72 and a native of Laurel,
Miss. Visiting at Hargrave Funeral Home, Morgan City, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
Religious services at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev.
John Locascio. Entombment in Morgan City Mausoleum. Survived by husband, Charles
H. Roe, Morgan City; adopted daughter, Isabelle Metcalf and husband, Mike Mitcalf,
Lafayette; their son, Charles Michael and his family; a sister, Mildred Blackwell,
Lafayette; and stepchildren, Charlene Gaddis, Patrick Roe, Robert Roe, Gay Cantrell
and Judge W. A. Roe Sr. Pallbearers will be Charles M. Metcalf, Robert Roe, Patrick
Roe, Albert Tircuit, Eugene Roe and Keith Chigizola. She was buried on Jun 22,
1998 in Morgan City Mausoleum, Morgan City, St. Mary Parish, LA.
