GREEN, MINNIE ROE

Died 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 25, 1991, at her residence in Baton Rouge. She was 72, and a native of Morgan City. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 9 a.m. to religious services at 3 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Huey Moak. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by two daughters, Kate Wilson, Baton Rouge, and Juanita Green, Rockport, Texas; two sons, Marc Green, Morgan City, and Danny Green, Houston, Texas; three brothers, E.G. Roe, Baton Rouge, J.E. and Charles Roe, both of Morgan City; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, J.B. Green; and a sister, Winnie Smallman. Memorial donations may be made to Capitol Hospice Care, 10500 Coursey Blvd., 70816. She was buried on Dec 27, 1991 in Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge, EBR Parish, LA.

GREEN, J.B.

Died 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, 1988, at Medical Center of Baton Rouge. He was 73, a resident of Denham Springs, a native of Aransas Pass, Texas, and a former resident of Morgan City. He was a retired Shell Oil Co. offshore oil logistics employee. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 3 to 9 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday. Religious services at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Huey Moak. Burial in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. Survived bywife, Minnie Roe Green; two daughters, Kate Wilson, Baton Rouge, and Juanita Green, St. Croix, Virgin Islands; two sons, John Marc Green, Morgan City, and Danny Jack Green, Houston, Texas; a sister, Ruby Youens, Columbus, Texas; four granddaughters and five grandsons. Preceded in death by parents, Ernest Robert and Catrene Green; and a brother, Hugh S. Green.
