Toler Ray Roe, Sr.
Retired and a member of Operating Engineers Local No. 406, he died at 7:30 a.m.
Tuesday, Dec. 21, 1999, at Summit Hospital, Baton Rouge. He was 65, a resident
of Denham Springs and a native of Bluff Creek. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home,
Denham Springs, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday. Religious
services at the funeral home chapel at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the
Rev. Joe Starns. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Park, Denham Springs. Survived
by a daughter, Carolyn Ball, Denham Springs; two sons and daughters-in-law, T.R.
"Chip" Jr. and Karen Roe, Baker, and Michael and Bridget Roe, Denham
Springs; three sisters, Peggy Summers and Emelda Sims, both of Denham Springs,
and Helen White, Slaughter; four brothers, Ronne Roe Sr., Tom Ed Roe Jr., Roy
Roe Sr., and Melvin Roe, all of Denham Springs; six grandchildren, Cindy Roe,
Joshua Roe, Christy Roe, Sasha Roe, Ashley Ball and Mikel Roe; and numerous nieces
and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Tom Ed Roe Sr. and Gertrude Booker
Roe. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church, Walker. The family wishes to thank
the physicians and staff of Summit Hospital.
He was buried on Dec 23, 1999 in Evergreen Memorial Park, Denham Spring, Livingston
Parish, LA. Toler Ray ROE had the following children:
