Died at 6:10pm at his residence in Pride. A native of EBR Parish,he was 57. He was a member of the Shady (sic) Creek Baptist Church. Survived by his wife, the former Eva Noble; two sons, Fleming and Dewey, both of Pride; one daughter, Muriel Roe, Pride; four sisters, Mrs. Louise Smith, Bogalusa, Mrs. Mamie Coghlan, Kentwood, Mrs. Lucy Fitzgerald, Magnolia, Miss., Mrs. Annie Flowers, McComb, Miss.; four brothers, Dadson, Pride, Cappie and Rivers, Bogalusa, Henry, Dorna, Ore. Body to be at residence until 3:30pm Friday Services at Sandy Creek Baptist Church at 4pm with the Rev. Leslie Creel officiating. Burial in Sandy Creek Cemetery. Rabenhorst Funeral Home in charge.

He was buried in Feb 1956 in Sandy Creek Baptist Church, Pride, EBR Parish, LA.
