CHUTZ, MIRIAM CALMES

Died 2:10 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, 1994, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 68, a native and lifelong resident of Dennis Mills, St. Helena Parish. Visiting was held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 5 to 10 p.m. Monday. Visiting at Pine Grove United Methodist Church, Pine Grove, 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. E. Rand Guy and the Rev. Michael Barton. Burial in Sand Hill Cemetery, Walker. Survived by husband, Wayne Joseph Chutz, Dennis Mills, St. Helena Parish; three sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne Ray and Julie Abbott Chutz, Port Vincent, Carl James and Sharon Watson Chutz, Watson, and Clabert Calmes and Deborah Corley Chutz, Watson; a sister, Virginia Calmes Phillips, Dennis Mills, St. Helena Parish; three brothers, N.B. Calmes Jr., Franklinton, L. Chaney Calmes, Baton Rouge, and Stanley R. Calmes, Pass Christian, Miss.; two grandchildren, Megan Elizabeth and Benjamin Zachariah Chutz, both of Port Vincent; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, N.B. and Jessie Chaney Calmes; a son, Malcolm Gene Chutz; and a brother, Edmond C. Calmes Sr. Pallbearers will be nephews, Chaney, Gregory and Matthew Phillips, Michael, Patrick, Kevin, Kelly and E.C. "Butch" Calmes and Donald Comeaux. She was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church, Pine Grove, having served as an Adult Sunday School teacher for many years.
She was buried on Feb 15, 1994 in Sand Hill Cemetery, Walker, Livingston Parish, LA.

Miriam Mary CALMES and Wayne Joseph CHUTZ were married. Miriam Mary CALMES and Wayne Joseph CHUTZ had the following children:
