Dauthier, Don Clay
He died Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at Summit Hospital, Baton Rouge. He was 53,
a native of Baton Rouge and resided in Prairieville. He was a retired insulator
and a volunteer firefighter for the Gonzales Fire Department for 10 years. A
brief memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at Bluff Creek
Baptist Church Cemetery, Bluff Creek, a resting place with his mother, grandmother
and aunts. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Danny Greg. He is survived
by his loving son, Dustin Dauthier, and wife Tessie; two grandchildren; three
brothers, Conrad Dauthier of Jarreau, Charles Fitzgerald of New Caney, Texas,
and Richard Fitzgerald of Little Rock, Ark.; five sisters, Sherry Jeter, Violet
Austin, Susan Graham and Yvonne Boe, all of Baton Rouge, and Margaret Thornton
of Liberty, Miss.; 36 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Dudley and Margaret Dauthier; and two brothers,
Allen J. Fitzgerald and Raymond Norman Fitzgerald. In lieu of flowers, memorial
donations may be made to the Diabetes or Lung associations.
He was buried on Mar 19, 2005 in Bluff Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, East
Feliciana Parish, LA. Donald Clay DAUTHIER and Donna NORWOOD were
married in 1973. |
