SMITH "MAE MAE"
A retired Louisiana practical nurse at Greenwell Springs Hospital and resident
of St. James, she died at 3:44 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, 1996, at Thibodaux Medical
Center, Thibodaux. She was 71 and a native of Pride. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral
Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 3 p.m. Saturday until religious services at 8
p.m., conducted by the Rev. George Threeton. Visiting at Bethany Baptist Church,
Baywood, 12:30 p.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Sunday. Interment in Bluff
Creek Cemetery. Survived by husband, Raymond N. Anderman; a brother and sister-in-law,
Emmett and Olivia Smith, Baywood; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives
and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Emmett Sr. and Vera Jennings Smith;
a sister, Lena SmithRushing; and a brother, Wilburn M. Smith. Pallbearers will
be nephews, H.C. "Sonny" Rushing, N.T. "Butch" Rushing, Claude
Smith, Ricky Smith, Phillip Anderman and W.A. "Billy" Poirier.
She was buried on Nov 24, 1996 in Bluff Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, East
Feliciana Parish, LA. Elsie May SMITH and John Walter GENOLA were
married before 1956 in Louisiana.76
