BROWN SR., LEN RAY "ROUND BROWN"
Died Thursday, May 6, 1993, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. He was 66 and
a resident of Baker. He was a retired Ethyl Corp welder, with 32 years of service,
and a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. Visiting at Faith Baptist
Church, Baker, 9 a.m. until religious services at 1 p.m. Saturday, conducted
by the Rev. Bill Boulton. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Survived by
wife, Stella Hanna Brown; two daughters, Sandra B. Roberts, Baker, and Bridget
B. Venable, Denham Springs; two sons, Len Ray Brown Jr., Arab, Ala., and Christopher
L. Brown, Zachary; six grandchildren, Wendi and Doug Roberts, both of Baker,
Leah and Shelly Venable, both of Denham Springs, Maggie Brown, Arab, Ala., and
Christian Brown, Zachary; and special friends, Cecil and Mary Hardy. Pallbearers
will be George Baker, Farrell Johnston, Darrell Ashford, Pete Hanna, Larry Beasley
and Stan Venable. He was a deacon at Faith Baptist Church, V.F.W. Baker Jeb Stuart
Post No. 4224 and Baker Lodge No. 441, F&AM. Rabenhorst Funeral Home East,
11000 Florida Blvd., in charge of arrangements.
He was buried in May 1993 in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker, EBR Parish,
LA. Stella HANNA and Len Ray (Round) BROWN had the following children:
